1.Umeda Sky Building (Kuchu Teien)/梅田スカイビルSky Building has become a symbol of Uneda.
It is a high-rise building, design of which is extremely unique and stylish.
On the 40th floor, at 173m, there is an observatory where you can see 360 degree view of the city of Umeda.
The night views from here is amazing.
There are several floors with restaurants.
Especially, takimikoji on the B1F is not to be missed!
It is designed in a classical retro style and the place looks like a scene from an another era.
There are various restaurants from sushi, soba, katsu to coffee shops.
2.Grant Front Osaka/グランフロント大阪Grant Front is an amazing shopping mall where you can enjoy shopping, eating, and other entertainment activities.
Restaurants and bars in umekita floor are open until 4am.
Some shops and areas to check out: Gravity Research where you can enjoy the indoor rock climbing, bouldering;
World’s Beer Museum and World Wine Museum where you more than 160 kinds of beer and over 40 wines from all over the world, which are located on the B1F.
3.Lucua Osaka/ルクア大阪Luqua is another major shopping mall with lots of shops at every price point, restaurants, cage, bookstores, etc.
There are 10 floors of shops and restaurant.
The underground floor is full of bars and open until 24:00.
There are also GU and Uniqlo here.
Lucua is connected to JR lines so this is very convenient place to shop and dine.
4.HEP Five/ヘップファイブHEP Five is a shopping and entertainment center mainly targeted for the youths and young professionals.
When you enter, a big red whale decoration will welcome you into the Atrium.

6.Osaka City Central Public Hall (Osakashi Chuo Koukaido)/大阪中央公会堂This is a great building to visit for architecture enthusiasts.

Along with Osaka castle, this has been widely recognized as a symbol of Osaka.

7.Nakanoshima Rose Garden/中之島バラ園5 minutes from the Central Public Hall, the rose garden is located in Nakanoshima Park.
The park is so spacious and tranquil you can get away from the city’s noises here.
The park hosts around 3,700 rose trees of 310 varieties.
You van view the roses in spring (from mid to end May) to fall (end of October to beginning of November).
8.Herbis Plaza ENT/ハービスプラザエントHerbis Plaza ENT is a commercial complex hosting many restaurants and international brand stores.
You can get anything you want from Tiffany Co., Gucci to a Japanese fair trade brand, Mother House.

9.Bookshop Hopping/本屋巡りUmeda hosts many bookstores from small to big, and old to new.

10.Nakazakicho area/中崎町This is a little retro town with tiny alleys around 10 minutes from Umeda.
Off Chayamachiguchi exit of Hankyu Umeda station, this is a perfect area to wander around.

Many of the shopping malls have a tax free offering and tax free counters for tourist from overseas.
