1.Umeda Sky Building (Kuchu Teien)/梅田スカイビル

Sky Building has become a symbol of Uneda.

It is a high-rise building, design of which is extremely unique and stylish.

On the 40th floor, at 173m, there is an observatory where you can see 360 degree view of the city of Umeda.

The night views from here is amazing.

There are several floors with restaurants.

Especially, takimikoji on the B1F is not to be missed!

It is designed in a classical retro style and the place looks like a scene from an another era.

2.Grant Front Osaka/グランフロント大阪

Grant Front is an amazing shopping mall where you can enjoy shopping, eating, and other entertainment activities.

Restaurants and bars in umekita floor are open until 4am.

Some shops and areas to check out: Gravity Research where you can enjoy the indoor rock climbing, bouldering;

3.Lucua Osaka/ルクア大阪


Luqua is another major shopping mall with lots of shops at every price point, restaurants, cage, bookstores, etc.

4.HEP Five/ヘップファイブ

HEP Five is a shopping and entertainment center mainly targeted for the youths and young professionals.

When you enter, a big red whale decoration will welcome you into the Atrium.

After shopping around, why don’t you hop onto a Ferris wheels to enjoy the view of the city and relax?

After resting your feet a bit, head out to Joypolis where video arcades and various games are located.

This is a new and sophisticated shopping area.

6.Osaka City Central Public Hall (Osakashi Chuo Koukaido)/大阪中央公会堂

This is a great building to visit for architecture enthusiasts.

This is a Neo-Renaissance style building from Taisho era yet, it also has characteristics of baroque grandeur, and the Viennese Secession style.

Along with Osaka castle, this has been widely recognized as a symbol of Osaka.

The most popular thing here is the winter illumination which is not to be missed.

7.Nakanoshima Rose Garden/中之島バラ園

5 minutes from the Central Public Hall, the rose garden is located in Nakanoshima Park.

The park is so spacious and tranquil you can get away from the city’s noises here.

The park hosts around 3,700 rose trees of 310 varieties.

You van view the roses in spring (from mid to end May) to fall (end of October to beginning of November).

10.Nakazakicho area/中崎町

This is a little retro town with tiny alleys around 10 minutes from Umeda.

Off Chayamachiguchi exit of Hankyu Umeda station, this is a perfect area to wander around.

There are many secluded cafes and bars owned by artists.

You can get lost here and find your treasure.
