Mount Rokko Do you know where the top three night view places in Japan are?

Kobe Chinatown Nankin-machi is located south of JR Motomachi station in Kobe.

There are many food stalls and restaurants where you can have not only Chinese foods, but also Kobe beef.

The must eat items here are Chinese steamed pork buns(Butaman) at Roushouki and dumplings at Gyoza Daigaku.

Nunobiki Herb Gardens & Ropeway is located in the top of Mount Rokko,and you can ride up the mountain by a cable car.

The garden features 75,000 herbs and 200 kinds of flowers across 14 themed garden plots.

You can enjoy a wide variety of flowers that change with the seasons.

The flowers are so beautiful and you can smell all the herbs as you walk through the garden.

It is the best place to relax and enjoy the view.

5.Visit Rokkosan farm/六甲山牧場に行く

Rokkosan Rokkosan Farm is located on Mount Rokko in Kobe.

There are many animals including sheep, goats,pigs,rabbits.cows,and ponies.

They got some new baby goats when I visited there few year ago.

They are very friendly,and I enjoyed interacting with them.

The must eat item here is soft -serve ice cream which is made from fresh milk from a farm in Mt.Rokko

It was the freshest, richest ice cream I’ve ever had.

If you want to interact with animals in the nature, you should visit Rokkosan farm!

6.Ride Kobe city loop bus/シティループに乗る

Kobe City Loop You may see a green retro bus running through the city while you’re in Kobe.

That’s the “Kobe city loop bus!”.

This bus visits many major tourist attractions around the Kobe including Nankinmachi,Kitano area and Meriken park.

If you stay in Kobe all day,I recommend you to purchase one day ticket of the bus.

Show your Passat over 30 attractions and you can get a discount.

Kitano Ijinkan Kitano area is located in the north part of Sannomiya station,and there are old Western-styled houses where European merchants lived.

My favorite house is”Platon Decorative Arts Museum “(Italian House)where you can have a great lunch meals at the terrace seat.

It’s very beautiful to walk around quiet streets and historical places on a sunny day.

meriken park Meriken park is located just next to Kobe port.

It is a nice park surrounded by famous symbolic buildings such as Kobe port tower and Oriental hotel.

There are many festivals and flea markets on the weekends.

Just next to this area, you will find Harbor Land, the multi-complex shopping center which contains nice cafes and restaurants.

It’s really nice especially at night, beautiful views and great atmosphere.

Kobe Cafe There are many stylish cafes, restaurants and cake shops in Kobe.

I love cafe hopping Kobe, and I sometimes write this blog at cafes in Kobe.

If you love chocolate,“L’AVENUE” is the must-go cake shop.

The patisserie won the prize at the World Chocolate Masters.

There is no eat-in space in the shop,but you can have your favorite cake at patisserie’s sister’s cafe.

Hakutsuru Sake Brewery Museum is one of the unique places to visit in Kobe.

Hakursutu is a big Sake Manufacturer in Japan.

The museum has many artifacts and great English videos demonstrating the history and the traditional way of sake brewing.

There is a gift whop where you can buy a wide variety of sake and liqueur,so it’s good for to find souvenirs.

Of course there is free tasting at the end of tour!
